very excited to give the go ahead on my invitation for the event ‘Meet the Artist’ At Debut Contemporary Gallery in London.
Hope you like and if you can come, it will be lovely to see you there
some people have that drive that they cannot start something until they finish what have started! Some start many things and work simultaneously, till they finish one by one.
I believe I am a mix of both and at this moment I am more of the latter type of artist, working on many projects at the same time.
The latest work was inspired by a photograph of my nice, now a 17 year old (going 18 soon), gorgeous looking young lady. As I have mentioned, I am drawn to people, places and emotions, and this work in particular brings lots of memories: when she was born, my home town, my family, my friends and what happened between these 18 years of watching her grow.
Hope you like it
it is not easy for any artist to start a new work after you completed something you consider a great achievement. And I think it is even more difficult when you write or paint. You have that feeling of what will follow next? How can I do something even better. Shall I take more risks? Do something bolder? Bigger? Outrageously different or conservatively follow the same ideas of the last projects? But your technique is always improving, your visions of the world and life changing, so that natural movements takes you to the next stage, sometimes a little bit tough, some other times nice gentle and easy.
After completing L’eterno Movimento this week, I faced this task: what will come next?
So there you go, fresh and new and still no title.
Enjoy your weekend
Spring is finally here. Rain and Sun today, the Eternal Movement of Nature. And this eternal movement of life was the title chosen (L’ETERNO MOVIMENTO) for my latest work, an evolution from STATO DI CALMA APPARENTE. Bigger in size, in detail and somewhat in intensity. Different materials (Black Pencil instead of the Black Biro) and a more celestial inspiration (The Zodiac) replacing the Snake, but both representing a circular movement of nature, of the cosmos, of life.
Two works that make me really proud to share with you all.
Hope you enjoy
today I had this nice surprise to work with, my latest promo video. Exploring the red in my latest works and a song that I really like to listen to, VIAGGIO IN ROSSO came to life.
hope you are all set for a great weekend. Here, I am working on a second version of STATO DI CALMA APPARENTE. Not sure the tittle will be the same, but the concept is. Materials have changed a little, from the biro to black pastels and a much bigger surface to work on.
Hope you enjoy it
Have a great weekend

It was a nice surprise to be asked to give an interview to feature at the Debut Contemporary Gallery’s website.
There I share a little bit about myself, my story, my passion with art and some curiosities of my trajectory in life.
You can read the full interview following the link:
after the Easter break I hope you are all enjoying your week.
I am usually inspired by images that not only catch my eye but also my heart, and Man Ray’s pictures have this natural quality, even if you are not an Art lover or Collector.
I would strongly recommend his exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery in London (http://www.npg.org.uk/whatson/late-shift-1/exhibition-tour-man-ray-portraits-22-02.php) and hope you like my humble homage to this great master of image.
All the best
