Closing this amazing month of April, I found myself joining a great and visionary team (led by two amazing sisters) whose mission will certainly move the Art world. FYSHBOL (http://www.fyshbol.com/), an amazing ‘place’ where Art and Art Lovers can meet, sell, share and engage.
The first of a series of events was held a the Graffik Gallery at Portobello Road, Notting Hill, and felt being at the right place at the right time! An amazing evening of Music, Art and celebration. I am not only happy but very thankful to be part of this!
WELL DONE FYSHBOL!
have you ever faced yourself going through some old stuff and finding something that actually were on the way to become something quite good and you never finished, for some very mysterious reason?
Thinking of that I found myself looking at these three rather interesting works (one of them even included some experiment with a drinking beverage) that I ought to have finished, but have never got round to actually doing it.
Enjoy your week
Do you remember that favourite song, from your favourite album, by your favourite artist? Then one day you turn on the radio and listen an AWFUL digital remix and you think ‘OH DEAR, WHERE DID IT GO WRONG’?
Forget about that …. remember the day you heard an AMAZING digital remix of a song you love and you think: ‘WHAT HAVEN’T THEY THOUGHT OF THIS BEFORE?’.
Well, with that thought in mind I went and visited some of my work and using a new gadget and a nice software I managed to recreate some of my works and I am not only very please with the results but also think of adapting some of those concepts into my ‘real life’ work, too.
Hope you enjoy
Wishing you all a great Easter
And Easter is upon us! Already??? Well, 2014 is proving to be a great year and I just wanted to share a flashback of great moments and also share some new works I am developing and even some unfinished that I have recently found again.
Wishing you a great Eater and that the spirit of Phoenix and re-birth be with us all.
another amazing evening for me, sharing centre stage with amazing talents of the London Art Scene (including the superstar Pure Evil and the amazing craftsman and dear friend Carne Griffiths).
This time at the Cuckoo Club, Piccadilly (London), for a one night only exhibition with Marlow Art Guitars (http://marlowguitars.com/), with whom I have collaborated to create three exclusive designs: Take another little piece of my Heart, Lizard King and In Utero.
Enjoy the pictures
it’s been a while since my last post. And after such busy end of March and looking forward to my exhibition with Marlow Guitars next week, I resumed working and this time on a very special commission: a portrait of legendary singer Bob Marley.
Marley was not only one of the most talented and influential musicians of this time, but as other musical legends, he went beyond his genre or brand ( the reggae) , and achieved something Universal.
I am very happy to be working on a portrait of this and have the chance to pay my respect to this great man.
Hope you enjoy it as well.
